The Staff Accountant, Revenue Accounting will be responsible for a variety of the cash application, billing, sales activity analysis and collection activities for MSG Networks. This position will assist in the Ad Sales Revenue Reconciliation process. Will be responsible for the interface between the General Ledger (Oracle) and the Company's Affiliate Billing system. Prepare affiliation fee billings, which includes generating and mailing invoices. Responsible in cash application & adjustments within Affiliate Billing System and vouching cash receipts against bank statements. Assists in cash application and coding for all cash receipts in General Ledger. Prepare various closing journal entries and account analysis/reconciliations. Prepare & track all Miscellaneous Billing, including assisting in collection procedures. Record monthly ad sales revenue and commission accruals. Assists in preparation of monthly reporting requirements & various disclosure requirements in connection with the Company's SEC filings.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
