Front End Web Developer
New York, NY Dynamic company on the move is seeking a Software Developer, based in the New York office, to play an integral role as a member of the Systems Development team within the IT Department.
The primary role is to assist with the development of the company's internally developed web based systems utilizing technologies such as the K2 platform and Microsoft SQL Server.
This includes integrating with other systems and platforms e.
g.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM and business systems.
The right candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who enjoys working in a small-company environment.
They are adaptable and able to multi-task with a creative mind and a desire and ability to problem solve while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
They will be happy working within a small team of technical and business minds, yet be able to work alone as needed.
Training will be given where needed of the development platforms and systems in use with us.
Responsibilities:
Development of web based forms, database artifacts and workflows that are needed in systems being developed in house.
Custom coding where the standard platforms are unable to do what is needed Detailed design and documentation of the system pieces being developed Testing and debugging of developed artifacts along with full testing of the systems Presentation of new features to the business and technical audiences Training of end users Maintenance and support of existing systems Work with internal clients throughout the firm, responding to and working on requests for change Follow patterns and practices adopted from industry best practices for internal development
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or a related field with a strong academic track record Strong verbal and writing communication skills Proven track record of working collaboratively and under tight deadlines Must have 3 years or more demonstrable experience in at least one of:
Web based form design (HTML and JavaScript) either custom or using a platform
SQL Database development (TSQL) along with understanding RDBMS Exposure to any of these (or similar) would be beneficial
Visual Studio IDE with C#.
Net development
Database reporting with SSRS or other reporting platforms/toolsets
K2 workflow, Smart Objects and Forms development
User of Regular Expressions
XML manipulation preferably with SQL or JavaScript
Experience Integrating with other systems
Microsoft Dynamics CRM development and use
Mobile applications development platforms
Software Development Life Cycle
JIRA issue and tracking software
Collaboration tools such as Slack or MS Teams
