Senior Front End Engineer
Responsibilities:
Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Front-End Developer in New York, New York (NY).
Summary:
The Senior Front-End Developer position will be contributing to the design and implementation of software applications serving this firm's hedge fund and prime brokerage clients.
The developer will work closely with our Product Management and Support team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions spanning multiple technology platforms.
Technical decisions are made collaboratively, with consideration given to the latest, most innovative technologies, enabling you to continue growing your skills.
Key Accountabilities:
Developing the UI/UX of our web platform Help continuously improve our development process Participate in a Scrum development methodology Review code from other team members To fulfill any additional/adhoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar Minimum 4 years hands-on development experience (Financial experience preferred but not necessary) SME in JavaScript, including newest language capabilities (es6,7+), performance tuning, and design practices Demonstrable expertise in React, Redux, and JS-related dependency and build tools (deep experience with comparable frameworks may be considered) Expert level experience with webpack/npm/grunt/Jenkins or similar build and integration tools Competency in the mathematical models that support financial services products A fundamental understanding of core technical components that comprise data stores, middleware, APIs, and web applications Understanding of iterative delivery and ability to deliver code as need-based product increments Solid fundamentals in REST API integration Fluency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript perfectly Ability to implement to-the-pixel UI specifications Typescript Comfortable building libraries and toolkits as well as standalone applications You keep up to date with the latest developments in web technologies Opinionated approach to modular architecture with real-world examples You must be an adventurous spirit with a passion for building software correctly Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
