Children and Family Services Specialist 1

oWorking with LDSSs, Voluntary Agencies and Preventive Services Programs to use a data-informed approach to improve the outcomes of children and families, based on federal and state standards oReview and evaluate local district County Plans and/or Annual Plan Updates as assigned. Provide County Plan monitoring and technical assistance to Districts as necessary, including Recruitment and Retention Plans oParticipate in program reviews for local departments of social services and voluntary agencies, including reviews for Title IV-E eligibility which will become more rigorous with the availability of federal funds for prevention and ensuring compliance with Family First requirements. Provide technical assistance and monitoring to LDSSs and voluntary agencies on numerous issues including child welfare programs, CONNECTIONS, complaint resolution, regulatory clarification and Family First Implementation oProvide technical assistance and monitoring to community agencies and organizations. Provide comments and recommendations on regulations and administrative letters in all program areas in which the Regional Office has licensing and oversight responsibilities. oProvide licensing oversight to agencies and organizations. Prepare application packages for approval and certification of new preventive programs. Re-certify and conduct annual visits to preventive programs as necessary. Provide technical assistance to voluntary agencies regarding program changes and rate setting impact. Additionally, provide oversight and monitoring of preventive plans for foster care candidates oParticipate in the management of activities related to the review of complaints involving foster boarding homes, child protective services and investigations as necessary oParticipate in Office of Children and Family Services' workgroups and committees as assigned oFacilitate the implementation of Office of Children and Family Services' priorities, policies and procedures by local districts and agencies such as CONNECTIONS, CFSR/PIP, Title IV-E, Permanency Round Tables/Rapid Permanency Reviews, Disproportionate Minority Representation, Family Assessment Response, Court Improvement Projects, and Family First. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.

Salary Range:
From $56604 to $71980 Annually
Minimum Qualification
One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
