Regional Construction Manager

The successful candidate will be a key part of the operations team and will be responsible for people leadership & project management of new building planning, design and construction.
This will include the extension of existing buildings and any new sites.
The Regional Construction Manager will play an integral leadership role in the development and implementation of the North American facility network infrastructure.
This role will lead teams analyzing and evaluating different facility scenarios and build-out designs.
In addition, this candidate supports the standardization of the technical and facility related processes and systems.
This opportunity combines construction engineering, people leadership, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management.
It requires a senior person who can show proven ability in the planning and design, and project management / control of new and the enhancement of existing facility buildings.
This role will include up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
Leads and manages geographically disparate teams of construction managers.
Works closely with teams to identify resources and collaborate in the planning and implementation of projects across the entire network.
Leads the most complex, mission-critical projects from initiation through delivery.
Responsible for the overall performance of project and teams in relation to budget and schedule, through coordinating and leading the resolution of issues and concerns that develop.
Collaboration with Managers (construction or other functions) in the coordination and appropriate staffing of projects.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
Communicates status and risks effectively.
Defines and enforces broad, company-wide standards for the way new initiatives are scoped, designed and completed.
Identifies new technologies, suppliers, and external partners to address critical business needs.
Functional thought leader, sought after for key functional and business decisions.
May lead cross-portfolio implementations, special projects or develop new design concepts.
Participates in interviews and provides feedback on candidates' technical/leadership skill.
Drives consensus.
Looked to as authority for risk analysis and solution provider.
Participates in recruiting and hiring decisions.
Develops leaders in more junior roles.
Delivers functional solutions that meet customer needs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
