We are seeking an experienced, impactful candidate to lead the U.
S.
team in supporting the needs of Banks and Intermediaries as they evolve through a continued period of transformative change.
The Bank and Intermediary coverage team aspires to be trusted financial advisors and partners to its selected clients, delivering the full spectrum of BNP Paribas' capabilities to support their objectives in corporate banking, securities services, global markets, transaction services and in specialty businesses in asset management, insurance, real estate and other financial services.
Strong knowledge of the regulatory and market environments are crucial to developing strong consultative relationships with the stakeholders in these businesses and is a key enabler to the success of Senior Bankers at BNP.
In addition to developing and executing the commercial strategies for each relationship in close cooperation with the stakeholders, the Senior banker is accountable for the full spectrum of conduct and controls relevant to their portfolios including development and representation of risk and exposure strategies to relevant committees and fulfillment of all KYC and compliance requirements.
Bank and Intermediary Scope:
The Bank and Intermediary team globally covers over 600 clients distributed across the Americas (51), EMEA ( 300) and APAC ( 300.
) Clients are assigned to a Pilot banker in their home domicile and a Contributor banker in regions where relevant.
We cover Global G-SIBs, Supraregionals, Trust Banks, Broker Dealers, Specialty Lenders, Intermediaries and established FinTechs.
Clients are prioritized into three tiers and the most Strategic Clients are supported by senior executives at the Group and Business line level.
As noted, our business with Banks and Intermediaries has accelerated in recent years as BNP has grown to become the largest European bank and a more significant participant in APAC and the Americas.
We are well positioned to further penetrate the market as we invest in key businesses and leverage our scale to provide services on a white label or insourced basis.
Our preliminary business plan for 2025 has identified material upside opportunity in securitization/structured credit, funding, capital and strategic advisory and sustainable finance.
The strategy is fully supported by the Head of CIB and the Executive Committee of the Bank, many directly involved with Bank and Intermediary Clients as sponsors of the relationships.

53 clients currently broken down as follows:
14 Strategic (typically GSIBs and largest, globally diversified firms); 19 Americas Strategic (specialty lenders, supraregional banks) 20 Core (specialty finance, broker dealers, intermediaries.
) The local team is supported on select accounts in EMEA and APAC.
Management:
Lead a team of 3 Senior Bankers/Directors; 1 VP and 1 Analyst.
The Senior Bankers are expected to develop and drive a strategic dialogue in an integrated way, focusing on key capabilities in order to build long-term, mutually valuable relationships.
Account Responsibility:
The candidate is expected to be a Player/Coach, covering key clients directly while leading the team as appropriate.
This role also will require:
-Originating, leading and coordinating transactions both domestically and abroad, where necessary.
This will involve frequent, active client interaction and, in particular, helping to co-ordinate appropriate content delivery to clients;Providing extensive internal liaison with multiple business lines:
working closely with relevant internal industry groups / product lines / stakeholders to help facilitate effective running of the group's client interaction;Providing support as necessary with all aspects of risk management within the client segment, compliance, conduct, including client on-boarding and Know Your Client topics.
Leverage support of the Executive Committee and senior product partners to engage with the client base to advance the commercial and institutional relationship objectives of the firm.
