com A New York City healthcare system is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) for a promising Outpatient position with their Dermatology team.
In this role, the Outpatient Dermatology NP/PA will be responsible for administering cosmetic laser therapies and performing skin analysis and evaluation on clients in a professional/clinical atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
The Outpatient Dermatology NP/PA will:
Develop a specific treatment plan for clients and an ongoing follow-up Educate patients on products to enhance their procedures Ensure patient's safety and comfort and smooth flow of patient care Ensure laser safety precautions are taken and documented in the patient's medical record Assist with scheduling of patients' treatments Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including equipment sterilization Administer injectable treatments for facial wrinkles and volumizing using dermal fillers, such as Restylane, Juvederm, Voluma, Botox, and other well known products Perform accurate charting and clinical documentation of each client Recommend various spa treatments, skin regimens based on client consultations Assist with other duties, as needed
Qualifications:

years of experience in a Dermatology role/setting Bachelor's Degree in a related field NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license Experience with cosmetic injector of Botox, Xeomin, or other neurotoxins and fillers Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organizedDesired Skills:
