GENERAL FUNCTION The Sr Manager of Training will be a key member of the Essilor-Luxottica Leonardo Team leading the training strategy and planning for a specific focus area; Onboarding, Optical Knowledge, Sales & Customer Experience, Brands & Products, Retail Operations, or People Development. Leonardo is our learning team and platform at EssilorLuxottica focusing on optics, brand storytelling and retail. Through easy-to-access courses taught by industry experts and available to employees, customers and partners, the platform aims to support the growth of our industry through the development of people. In the Sr Manager of Training role you will have the challenge and pleasure to be responsible for driving the learning strategy across the EssilorLuxottica portfolio of businesses. You will be charged with supporting the identification of learning and training needs and ensuring that those needs are satisfied. Additionally, you will be a critical link between the Leonardo team and the business units. You should possess strong skills in all areas of L&D (consultation, design, facilitation, leadership) and have the skills to influence and project manage within the team and across functions. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with key stakeholders to identify training needs in your focus area and create innovative learning strategies and solutions Collaborate with Leonardo Corporate on any content localization needs and implementation of new training courses Collaborate closely with Sr. Manager of Deployment to develop the area of expertise and skill sets of facilitators Partners with Corporate Leonardo Team depending on the area of expertise to contribute to the review and feedback of content being created Ensure the highest level of service is delivered to customers / stakeholders Provide leadership and support for Leonardo initiatives Own the coordination and execution of approved learning and training strategies Execute learning plans for the year based on key priorities established by Milan partners and provides recommendations based on local needs Review and provide monthly update on results by brand tied to plan KPIs Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including executive business leaders Responsible for keeping learning plans alive and frequently updated Partner closely with the businesses, brands and HR team members to deliver best-in-class training solutions laddering up to Leonardo Corporate Team and business leadership top priorities and objectives. Balance competing priorities across strategy and assessment plus project management and execution across Leonardo and business initiatives Drive program success for key learner groups across all businesses, included but not limited to, corporate & retail leaders as well as individual contributors Own the tracking of project status against key milestones and evaluate ability to achieve timeline Review and provide monthly update on results tied to identified KPIs BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in related field 7
years of experience Experience with learning and training strategy Experience with L&D, HR or equivalent Experience leading people through influence
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, Organization Development & TrainingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
