All 5 Date Stamped Wheels Freshly Refinished -Full Nut and Bolt Restoration by Marque Specialists -Less than 500 Miles Since Restoration -Restoration Appears as if was just done 3 months ago -Bare metal repaint, full interior, full suspension, full engine rebuild, all done 500 miles ago This 1963 Porsche 356B Super 90 was the recipient of an in depth, bare-metal, nut and bolt restoration done by marque specialists Vintage Auto Collectibles in 2012.
At that time, the car received an engine rebuild of its original matching numbers engine to factory specs, and the matching numbers transmission was resealed.
The car presents as new in every way, inside and out.
The underbody presents as new, with all hardware plated, and during the restoration new floors and a new battery box were correctly welded in.
It is clearly evident by driving it and spending some time with it that it received a high quality restoration, that appears as if it was done less than three months ago, due to its limited usage.
This 356 excels with excellent panel fit, a brand new soft top, and new leather and carpeting on every part of the interior.
All gauges and gauge faces were restored by North Hollywood Speedometer, including the clock, which all work and look as new.
It runs and drives as new and the engine runs very well, firing up easily from a cold start.
The transmission engages all 4 gears and reverse with ease, benefitting from a servicing of the shift linkage at the time of the restoration.
The car received a new clutch at that time as well.
All 5 original Date Stamped wheels have been beautifully refinished, with correct Super 90 hub caps.
The car received either all new chrome, and when appropriate, original pieces were re-plated.
All weather stripping was replaced.
The carburetors, fuel valve, and fuel pump were all rebuilt and re-sealed at the time of the restoration.
The car received an entirely new braking system, including all new hard lines and rubber brake lines.
The car comes with its original wheels, manual, boot cover, COA, Kardex, and records.
