1963 Rogers Cleveland Tower Snare All Original Time Capsule for sale in New York City, NY
Nice Cleveland Beavertail 14x5 Rogers Tower Snare Drum, in White Marine Pearl.All original, except for new snare cords. All square tension rods and washers are correct. Original snare wires. WMP is evenly vanilla, otherwise excellent. Bearing edges are perfect (see photo.) Chrome is bright with some very minor pitting to lugs (see detail photos.) There is some light corrosion to the inside bottom of the top rim (see photo), and one of the snare wires is bent (see photo.) Top head is original, although its coating appears to have been completely rubbed off. Bottom head is original.It has the vent hole adjacent to the strainer, which suggests it is 3-ply (according to some Rogers people), but I believe it is 5-ply (see detail photo.)Serial number (4712) dates it to 1963. Initials on tag appear to be "DLP" - probably Dorothy Platt.
