Vintage AIWA Cassette Player HS-J707 Recorder Walkman FM / for sale in New York City, NY
This is a very rare AIWA portable Cassette Recorder model # HS-J707. This model was released in 1992. It's been sitting inside my drawer for decades. It doesn't work at this point. You can use it for parts or repair it if you know how to repair. I plugged it into a power source and the digital display came on and there is noise coming from the built in speaker. That's about it!! I wasn't sure if the motor was running or not. If it did, the belt is most likely broken since it was not turning the tape. Hopefully someone can repair it or salvage some parts from it to repair theirs. The top part is loose!! It might need some screws. This walkman is almost 30 years old obviously, that said, there are scratches, bumps all over and other flaws I may have overlooked. Please bid accordingly and view the attached pictures for more details. You will receive only the Aiwa walkman, nothing more, nothing less. There are missing screws!!
