Presented in Giallo over Black it retains its matching numbers engine and transmission, as per its Massini and Bartz Report.
Its entire ownership history is known and the car was originally delivered in Los Angeles.
Owned by a selection of fastidious collectors throughout the years, Chassis #03914 was treated to a documented bare metal restoration, with photos on a CD.
In 2004, at 62,000 miles, this Dino received an engine rebuild and transmission re-seal with only 6000 miles since completion.
This Dino was the recipient of multiple Concours awards including Platinum First Class at the Cavallino Classic.
During the height of its Concours career, this Dino was owned by a Mr.
Karr, who eagerly pursued Concours awards.
He would return from a Concours event, with his judging sheet (and all subsequent minor deductions) and immediately drop the Dino off for all the corrections to be made as per the judging sheets.
The goal was always perfection.
So focused was Mr.
Karr on his Pursuits, that he drove his mechanical facility, Autosport Gallery in Kansas, to the brink of insanity with his pursuit of perfection.
Eventually, the car traded hands to a renowned Collector and Automobile memorabilia aficionado Morry Barnak in Canada, who then sold it to a Doctor in Oregon.
Today, the car resides here in New York City in our climate controlled showroom and appears as new.
The often poorly imitated Mousehair dashboard is in perfect, correct condition.
Showing a mere 68,000 miles, which is believed to be original mileage, this Dino is ready to be placed in either the most discerning collection, or to be used and enjoyed.
Comes with a full record of its restoration, a spare wheel, tool kit, awards, books, restoration CD, and accessories.
